Now I'm ready

I have been working like crazy to try to get the house "ready" for the baby. Babies really don't need much and if all we had were a couple diapers and all the clothes in the basement and a couple blankets, we'd be ready. But, I have had some serious nesting going on and wanted to work through a big pile of sewing and craft projects before this baby comes. They are not all done, but my biggest priority was the front hall closet curtains. My mom and I bought the fabric 2 years ago and it has been waiting!! So last week when my mom was in town, we finally did it. She actually did all the sewing and measuring, (my tummy seems to get in the way) and I did the grommets. It was pretty scary cutting holes in that gorgeous fabric, but it all worked out. Now we just need more than a bathroom tension rod to hang them on. OK baby you can come now.

I'm pretty much doing the same thing! I hung another picture today... curtains and rod tobe hung tommorow, then project project project for the next bit. I'm trying to do all those things that I fear i may never have time for again!

The curtains look amazing! Very lush fabric!
